Hanoi Trip Day 4: 14th Sep 2014, Sunday
河内之旅第四天:9月14日2014年, 星期天
Last day of our trip. This day was pretty much about getting to the Noi Bai International Airport and then flying back to Singapore. Nevertheless, it was still a new experience for us. As we slowly dragged our feet and luggage towards the checkout counter, our hearts were unwilling to part with the beautiful Hanoi and their wonderful culture, as well as the many interesting food we had tasted over the past few days.
Checking out.
At the airport. Staff wearing their traditional Vietnamese áo dài.
No, it's not Tiger Beer. It's Biere Larue.
Our flight meal looks pretty scrumptious.
And there's pasta too.
If not for the extreme hot weather, this trip would have been the perfect
getaway. Best to avoid the summer period of May to August. Even though
our trip was right at the beginning of autumn, we still
experienced the heatwaves as though we were back in Singapore. Our next
trip to Hanoi would probably be in winter or spring where
temperatures range from below 10 degrees to 20 degrees. Should be a very
cooling and much more enjoyable trip then.
