Our second visit to Hong Kong Disneyland! And since we had been there in 2011, when the new areas of Toy Story Land, Grizzly Gulch and Mystic Point were not yet available, we decided to just visit those areas this time round.

Always a good thing to have a picture with the entrance.

Our tickets and meal vouchers.

Being kids all over again.

We were there pretty early, hence it was not so crowded.

Visiting the new themed areas.

Our first stop was the Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars roller coaster ride. The height of the ride seemed to suggest that it was gonna be a really exciting ride. And indeed it was! The ride was slightly longer than three minutes long and also featured a backwards section. Scared the shit out of everyone when we started moving backwards.

Truly a mountain. Do you dare to take the plunge from its peak?

Momo Dear found a huge gold nugget! Rich!

Kids can play with these water shooters.

Next, we visited the Mystic Point themed area. The main attraction was the Mystic Manor, which is a dark ride within the manor itself. Not quite a haunted mansion. It featured a more light-hearted and mystical setting. The whole ride took five and a half minutes. Many interesting illusions were seen during the ride. Certainly a feast for the eyes and suitable for kids.

Many interesting pieces of art scattered around the Mystic Point area.

Time to visit the Mystic Manor.

More artifacts.

And we were welcomed to Mystic Manor.

Portrait of Lord Henry Mystic and Albert.

Indeed there was a large collection of cultural artifacts within the manor.

A map of the Mystic Manor, showing the various artifact collections.

A chandelier hanging from the ceiling in the waiting area.

What could we expect?

Albert gives a little narration of Lord Henry Mystic's many collections from around the world.

And here comes our ride.

Glow in the dark T-shirts! Really cool-looking.

An elaborately designed fireplace.

This artwork is made up of three separate stone pieces.

A final look of Mystic Manor.

Another artwork...

...that is made up of three separate pieces.

Another artwork featuring possibly Poseidon.

We then visited Toy Story Land, which was based on the animation Toy Story. It was a very colourful themed area with structures made up of all sorts of toys, similar to what you would see in the movie. There were a few rides such as the RC Racer, and the Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin. However, seeing there were long queues and were mainly for kids, we decided to head to the restaurant to grab our lunch.

Onward to Toy Story Land.

A very colourful place.

The Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin ride.

The RC Racer.

The colourful toilets will definitely give a relaxing pee.

Mr. Potato Head of Toy Story.

Kids will love this place.

Say hi to Woody.

The space shuttle lets off some steam (mist).

Got ourselves chicken chop and burger set meals. See the Mickey Mouse shaped rice?

Our lunch.

Dear always gets delighted at the sight of french fries.

After our lunch, we shopped at the souvenir shops and got some souvenirs, before heading off before sunset. We did not want to stay for the fireworks since we had seen it before.

A talented pianist cycling and playing on the pianocycle.

A satisfied Momo Dear.

And that's the end of our second visit to Hong Kong Disneyland. Hope to be there real soon again!
